Nikolas Nikolaou (Management Team)

President of NGO ACPELIA, plays an important role in the organization and implementation of projects, contributing his experience as a coach and organizer. He is a high school physics teacher with a BSc in Physics from the University of Cyprus and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

He has extensive experience in environmental education, non-formal education, entrepreneurship, and anti-discrimination initiatives. Nikolas has organized and participated in over 50 European programs (KA105, KA205, KA229, Youth in Action) as well as many local environmental and science projects involving young people. 

Gita Vaškelytė (Facilitation Team /Youth Worker)

Gita Vaškelytė is a youth worker, social worker, and project manager with more than eight years of experience in youth work, non-formal education, and community development at national and European levels.

She is the president of Meraki LT, an NGO working with communities and young people through social and educational initiatives. She has been involved in many youth exchanges and training projects and has worked in more than 10 KA1 projects, supporting and coordinating international initiatives.

Gita recently joined NGO ACPELIA as a Project Manager, where she continues to develop international projects and learning opportunities for young people. She is passionate about helping young people grow, connect, and discover their potential through creativity and collaboration.

Boghos (Bobbie) Avetikian (Facilitation Team /Youth Worker)

Boghos Avetikian is an Armenian Cypriot, who after achieving a BA in English and Communications at the American University of Armenia immediately got involved in Erasmus+ projects after graduating. After participating in 25+ projects, both Youth Exchanges and Training courses, Boghos soon got involved in facilitating and coordinating projects on his own, focusing on numerous themes such as sustainability, social entrepreneurship and inclusion. Boghos Avetikian loves jogging and music, and should be in Nicosia, you will probably see him running around in the afternoons with his earphones in his ears.
